RianCorp is a privately-owned company established since 1998, established by founder Ann Angel and Richard Walmsley. RianCorp focuses on the development & production of medical laser products for photochemical applications in the field of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). 

Our products are cost effective and appropriately designed for their intended purpose of providing a better quality of life for people living with lymphoedema. Our products are also backed with honest clinical data and outstanding customer support. 

The LTU-904 Laser Therapy Unit is the ONLY laser device cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for lymphoedema treatment after breast cancer. LTU-904 is also registered with the Australian Department of Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). We have sold the LTU-904 in Australia, Japan, the UK and other countries across the world. RianCorp meets stringent international quality management requirements (ISO013485).

RianCorp has completed the first randomised double blind clinical trial testing the effects of LLLT on lymphoedema/lymphedema in the world.

Ann Angel

Co-Founder of LTU-904 & RianCorp Pty Ltd

Ann Angel established her own medical device company in 1998 called RianCorp, a company that focuses on medical laser products for photochemical applications in the field of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). Ann has grown RianCorp into an internationally recognised organisation, for introducing a new product to the market for breast cancer treatment patients - the LTU-904.

 

Ann has a 25 year business background with international experience in introducing new products to new markets. She has been part of the management team in several Australian start-up technology companies in addition to establishing Asia Pacific distribution networks for a US technology company. She has managed product development/manufacturing for several new products, with an emphasis on low cost product development to gain market feedback.  Her company has two approved patents.

In 2016, Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer and used the LTU-904 device for post-mastectomy lymphoedema treatment. Ann is also a Growth Expert for the Business Growth Program for Uni SA, and a Commercialisation Advisor for Accelerating Commercialisation (Federal Govt grant program), and on the review panel for Medical Device Partnering Program at Flinders University.
